Diabetes Alliance South Africa is a national civil society coalition working to reduce the burden of diabetes through advocacy, community engagement, education, and partnerships. The Alliance unites people living with diabetes, civil society organisations, clinicians, researchers, and policymakers to strengthen prevention, improve access to quality care, and amplify patient voices. Through national advocacy, a provincial chapters network, peer support initiatives, and evidence-informed policy engagement, the Alliance promotes equitable, people-centred diabetes prevention and care, and contributes to broader cardio-kidney-metabolic health efforts in South Africa.
