About the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Europe

To find out more, visit idf.org/europe.

IDF Europe is the European chapter of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). It represents 72 national diabetes organizations in 45 countries across Europe, bringing together national diabetes associations and uniting the voices of people living with diabetes (PwD) and healthcare professionals. IDF Europe’s mission is to improve the lives of PwD and those at risk by engaging with them and all stakeholders in creating a person-centred diabetes ecosystem within an informed and health-promoting environment. The organization actively advocates at both the EU and wider European levels. It ensures that the voices of PwD are represented in research projects, produces publications on diabetes-related issues and supports PwD through capacity-building activities that foster leadership and advocacy skills.
