Bob Sheridan is a layout designer and has worked in the automotive industry for over 25 years. He lives in Michigan, has two children and volunteers as a peer supporter for Mended Hearts.
In 2016 at the age of 45, Bob suffered a major heart attack. He required three stents in the mid-section of the left anterior descending artery and also had an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) placed in his left upper chest. As a result of the heart attack, he suffered heart muscle damage and currently lives with heart failure with a reduced left ventricular ejection fraction of 25%.
Today Bob is living a normal life with moderate restrictions, thanks to his focus on his health and lifestyle. In recent years, Bob has directed his attention to sharing his story to help others.
